Residents of the home returned to find 22-year-old Craig Allen Thurmond asleep on the couch.
Turns out he once lived at the house - but had been asked to move.
Police say he made his own move to get back into the place Thursday - when he broke a window and kicked in the door while nobody was around.
When the cops came around, Thurmond was taken into custody without incident.
He's charged with vandalism and aggravated burglary.
