Pa. woman pushing stroller dies after being struck

MT. LEBANON, Pa. - June 30, 2010

Authorities say 36-year-old Lisa Styles died Tuesday, a day after she was allegedly struck by an impaired driver in Mt. Lebanon, just outside Pittsburgh.

Styles was pushing her 1-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son in a stroller when police say she was struck by a sport utility vehicle being driven by 20-year-old Benjamin Cope. The stroller was overturned but the children remained strapped in and apparently unhurt.

Cope is already facing charges of driving under the influence and police say he could face more charges. Investigators suspect Cope had been using marijuana.

A phone listing for Cope could not immediately be located.
