Who killed Linwood Bowser?

BREWERYTOWN - July 3, 2010

The 20-year-old, who went by the nickname "Wood," worked at a detail shop and was expecting his first child.

On Sunday, May 2nd, Bowser was with friends across from his mother's house on the 2700 block of West Jefferson Street in Philadelphia's Brewerytown section.

At around 12:45 a.m., Bowser's mother, Vonda, heard gunshots.

"The first thing I said was "Wood" and once it was clear, his friends called us over and said that my son was hit," Vonda said.

Bowser was found inside a friend's home with a gunshot wound to the chest.

He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

There is a $2,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.
