Wachovia Bank robbery suspect sought in Del.

Investigators say that at approximately 3:48 p.m. on May 3, 2010, the suspect entered the Wachovia Bank, located at 1424 N. DuPont Highway.

The man approached the teller and presented a demand note. The suspect told the teller he was armed, implying he had a gun in his waistband.

The teller turned over an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled the area in a white SUV.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 30's to early 40's. He stands approximately 6', with a thin build, and was clean-shaven. He was wearing a dark colored baseball hat, dark sunglasses, gray colored, short-sleeved tee shirt, and jeans.

Anyone with information on the identity or whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call police at 302-834-2630 ext. 210 or ext 6. Callers may remain anonymous.
