The incident occurred around 12:55 a.m. on Saturday June 26, 2010 at Steve's Tavern, located at 1204 Centerville Road.
Investigators say a 25-year-old Newark man was assaulted and robbed by "numerous suspects" after exiting the tavern.
The victim was transported to Christiana Hospital and treated for cuts and bruises.
Police released images of two men wanted in connection with the assault/robbery. Both men were black males between the ages of 23 and 25. The first suspect stood approximately 6'02" tall, weighed 230 lbs. and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and jeans. The second suspect was approximately 5'08" tall, weighed 140 lbs. and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and jeans.
The suspects fled the scene in a white 2000 Lincoln Town Car.
