Pa. woman pleads guilty in hit-run crash

ARDMORE, Pa. - July 6, 2010

Seventy-six-year-old Suzanne Lammers, of Villanova, pleaded guilty Tuesday in last summer's crash that broke a 13-year-old bicyclist's leg and left him with hearing loss in one ear. An anonymous tip led police to Lammers' home, where her car was parked in a garage with a blanket covering the damage.

Lammers pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident and a summary offense of failure to render aid. She faces a mandatory sentence of 90 days in jail, but her attorney says he'll argue for house arrest.

Prosecutors say they'll oppose arguments for leniency.
