Police were called to the hotel at 2175 West Route 70 around 11:36 p.m. Thursday.
The victim, 18-year-old Chrishon Carver of the 100 block of Barring Street in Camden, was found lying down in a first floor corridor suffering from a single gunshot wound to the face.
He was rushed to Cooper Hospital in critical but stable condition.
The suspect, identified as 18-year-old Albert Cass of the 1400 block of Norris Street in Camden was arrested moments later in front of the hotel.
Police say Cass' handgun was found in front of the building in a planting strip.
According to investigators, Cass and Carver were with others staying at the hotel where they were said to be partying. The shooting happened during a disagreement between the two, police said.
