Police say 21-year-old Manheim resident David R. Woodson faces one misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct and several summary offenses.
Authorities say it was 11:40 p.m. Saturday when Woodson tossed a paper cup and plate filled with manure through the window of a patrol car.
The manure hit an officer in the chest.
Police say Woodson was arrested after a foot chase. It wasn't immediately clear if he had an attorney.
