About 20 members of the Independence Hall Tea Party chanted "Take Back Congress" and "Fire Pelosi" outside a downtown hotel Monday.
Biden and Pelosi were inside attending a fundraiser for Democratic congressional candidate Bryan Lentz, whose Republican challenger is former U.S. Attorney Patrick Meehan.
The fundraiser is closed to the public.
Don Adams, president of the local tea party chapter, says the group knows it can't vote Biden out in November.
But he says they do hope to help oust seven or eight Democrats from congressional seats in the Philadelphia area.
