Can't grow enough pot

ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico (AP) - July 20, 2010

He's one of just 11 pot growers approved to produce legal medical marijuana for the 2,000 registered users in the state of New Mexico.

Goodman says his crop is usually gone within 24 hours after it goes on sale.

State law restricts the growers to just 95 plants.

State officials say they don't want an over supply that could end up on the street.

Medical marijuana patient Larry Love says the restriction is causing legal users to buy illegal weed.
