Captain Leo Haley retired in 2000 after 30 years on the force. He and three other men went before a judge today in Media, Delaware County.
According to police, Haley admitted to using Limewire, an Internet file-sharing network. He also admitted to sometimes downloading child pornography, saying he views it, then deletes the files.
Police conducted a search of Haley's computer and found at least 200 child pornography videos in Haley's shared folder. Haley said he is the only person who uses the computer.
Bail for Haley was set at $100,000, but it's unclear if that was paid or whether Haley is still in jail tonight.
Also arrested were Dominick Chiarolanza, Alexander Treiber and Charles Flemming.
A total of 10 search warrants were served in Philadelphia. Authorities say they still expect to make more arrests in this child porn case.
