Here are some of the best deals this week, including some great deals on backpacks.

At Staples, you can buy a backpack and then get the cost of the backpack back in Staples Gift Card, so essentially, it's like getting that backpack for free. This offer is good until July 31, 2010.

Not to be outdone, Office Max has a similar deal for business owners, teachers and homeschoolers. They'll give you the price of a bacpack back in MaxPerks Rewards, which must be spent by August 20, 2010. They'll do the same with your purchase of a 1" non-view binder, a 12-pack of Sharpie markers, a 3-pack of Uni-Ball gel pens, a ream of Hammerill copy paper or poly notebook. There are quantity limits and this deal expires on July 31, 2010, also.

Here are some of the other school-supply deals going on this week.

Rite Aid is offering 1-subject Mead spiral notebooks, 12" rulers, single glue sticks, 2-packs of erasers, 10-packs of pencils, 24-packs of crayons, folders, pencils cases, and white glue for $.29 each. And, if you buy ONE marble composition book, you'll get TWO free. Plus, their backpacks are 50% off.

Office Depot has acrylic rulers for $.05, 12-packs of eraser caps for $0.10, and six-packs of spiral notebooks for $0.50.

Kmart has 2 pocket, 3-prong folders for $0.15, RoseArt 24-count crayons and 4-oz. Elmer's school glue for $0.25, Paper Mate pens, pencil boxes, 12-packs of colored pencils, 150-count packages of filler paper, and portfolios for $0.50.
