The shooting happened at approximately 1:37 a.m. Sunday along the 3900 block of Ford Road in Philadelphia's Wynnefield Heights section.
According to police, the 27-year-old victim was attending a bachelor party at Sabel's Showbar when he walked outside the bar to use his cell phone. In the parking lot, the victim was approached by a masked gunman.
The gunman instructed the victim to walk with him. When the victim tried to run, he was shot once in the lower back. He stumbled back to the bar, and collapsed between two parked cars.
Medics transported the victim to The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he is now listed in stable condition.
The suspect is described as male, standing about 5'8" with a slim build, wearing dark pants, a black baseball cap and an orange bandanna covering his face from the eyes down.
No arrests have been made.
