2nd teen charged in Pa. law student's slaying

YORK, Pa. - August 3, 2010

York City police said Monday that 18-year-old Kenneth Santiago-Curet was arrested over the weekend in Wednesday's shooting death of 28-year-old James Wallmuth III outside a downtown bar. Wallmuth lived in the area but was a student at the University of Pittsburgh law school.

Police allege that Santiago-Curet provided the gun that a 15-year-old used to shoot Wallmuth in a botched robbery outside the bar as the victim was making a cell phone call. The teen was charged last week.

Lt. Tim Utley says Santiago-Curet is charged with homicide, robbery and conspiracy. A listed number for him could not be found Monday and it was unclear whether he had an attorney.
