Investigators say the man tried to steal a cash machine from a Walgreens.
The crook apparently planned to wrap a chain around the ATM and drag it out with his truck.
But the chain wasn't long enough.
Police Lt. Steve Kenney tells a local radio station, surveillance video shows a man breaking glass and bringing the chain into the store.
An alarm sounded.
But the suspect left without taking anything by the time officers arrived.
