An alleged drunk driver crashed his car into the officer's truck.
The collision happened early Saturday morning, along Northwestern Avenue at Ridge Pike in Springfield Township.
The officer was not reported injured.. but checked out as a precaution.
The driver was taken to Chestnut Hill hospital for blood work.
He faces DUI and other charges.
His name hasn't been released.
