No more drinking games during sessions

KEENE, N.H. (AP) - August 9, 2010

The council was considering a measure that would have eased Keene's open-alcohol-container ordinance.

But the session was disrupted by supporters who were playing a drinking came.

They were taking swigs out of containers labeled "not a beer."

Mayor Philip Dale Pregent says there's no way to know if they were actually drinking beer.

But he says they ignored his request to stop.

The Keene Sentinel reports three people have been charged with disorderly conduct.
