Pennsylvania State Police have arrested second man in connection with the carjacking, rape, beating, and robbery of a woman nearly two years ago.

Luis Alberto Berrios-Rodriguez, 22, was arrested Thursday in Puerto Rico.

Back in June, police arrested Raymond Cosme-Gomez in Puerto Rico on charges related to his alleged role in the case.

Police said both men took part in the carjacking of a 22-year-old woman in a parking lot in the 2800 block of Pricetown Road in Alsace Township, Berks County on October 18, 2008.

Police said they grabbed the woman by her hair and demanded all of her money.

She handed over $40 in cash and her cell phone.

Police said the men then drove the woman in her own vehicle about two miles away to a secluded area along Old Pricetown Road.

They said she was then raped, beaten, and left behind by her attackers while they drove off in her car, which was found on fire in the 900 block of North 6th Street in Reading about 45 minutes later.

Police said they are still seeking a third person.
