The accident occurred around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of the Blackhorse Pike and 9th Avenue.
When police arrived, they found that the bus collided with a Ford Explorer head-on.
The driver of the Ford Explorer was pronounced dead at the scene.
Five other people were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
