'Bama a much stiffer test for No. 18 Penn State

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - September 7, 2010

Bolden has earned another starting nod for the 18th-ranked Nittany Lions after a sensational, two-touchdown debut against Youngstown State.

But coach Joe Paterno faces a much stiffer task this week in preparing his young quarterback and the rest of the team for a trip to No. 1 Alabama.

Paterno says Bolden seems to have the poise to handle the pressure. But he's worried about the Tide defense, even if Alabama is without suspended defensive end Marcell Dareus.

Paterno says Alabama also has plenty of talent to make up for Heisman Trophy tailback Mark Ingram, whose status is unclear because of left knee injury.
