It can be a reality, now that there are ringtones that feature two of the iconic sounds of the old "Soul Train" TV series.
It was a counterpoint to shows like "American Bandstand" back in the day in that it highlighted performances and interviews with many black stars like the Jackson 5, Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder - as well as rock stars like Elton John.
There are two ringtones - the original Soul Train theme and the closing wishes offered each week by longtime host Don Cornelius.
The ringtones are part of a celebration of the syndicated show's 40th anniversary.
