Who murdered Armen Tsaturyan?

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA - September 11, 2010 Armen Tsaturyan was flipping houses trying to make a living. His father, Valerian Tsaturyan, says the sluggish economy hit him hard.

"Little financial trouble that everyone had who had the business now because of this financial crisis," Valerian said.

Just after 9:00 p.m. Friday May 28th, Armen was supposed to meet some people on the 5400 block of Baltimore Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia.

"At this time two others, I don't have all the words, criminals, came with a gun," Valerian said.

Police aren't sure if the men were the ones that Armen was set to meet or not. But something happened and surveillance video captured two men running from the scene.

"The two suspects run out of this lot and they take off and they're actually tucking the weapons into their waist," John Apeldorn, President of the Citizens Crime Commission, said.

Armen had been shot and killed. The police believe it was a robbery and Armen's father says his son's wallet is missing. He hopes someone can identify the men in the video.

"If we don't fight with the criminals we get stuck losing, I lost, I don't want anyone else to suffer the pain my family is suffering," Valerian said.

There is a $2,000 reward for anyone with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.

Anyone with information is asked to the Citizens Crime Commission at 215-546-TIPS. If your tip leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible, you can collect the reward.
