10,000 hooded jackets recalled, many brands

September 16, 2010

Burlington Coat Factory has recalled children's hooded jackets and sweatshirts due to strangulation hazard.

The hooded jackets and sweatshirts have drawstrings through the hood and/or waist which can pose a strangulation or entrapment hazard to children.

The brands include Aeropostale, Apple Bottoms, Deere Park, Disney, and more.

Owners of these jackets are told to remove the drawstrings to eliminate the strangulation hazard then return the garment for a full refund or credit.
