Gunman flees morning shooting in S. Phila.

Police are searching for whoever shot a man in South Philadelphia on Friday morning.

The shooting happened around 6 a.m. at the intersection of 20th and Morris streets.

Police say the victim is a 46-year-old male who was shot once in the right thigh.

He was transported to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he remains in stable condition.

There is no word yet on any suspects.
