The incident occurred at approximately 12:40 p.m. as a male suspect entered the Acme grocery store located along Fox Hunt Drive and preceded to the Citizens Bank branch located inside.
The suspect then approached a 21-year-old Newark, Delaware female who is employed as a bank teller.
The suspect presented a demand note for cash to the teller who complied with the note and turned over an undisclosed amount of money to the victim.
Police say there was no sign of a weapon.
The suspect then fled the store and was last seen in the main parking lot of the shopping center.
The victim was not injured.
