The woman was struck early Saturday morning while trying to cross the 2700 block of DeKalb Pike in East Norriton.
Medics treated her at the scene, which happened to be right across from Mercy Suburban Hospital. She was flown by medical helicopter to Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia. The victim's name has yet to be released.
Police say the driver took off, before returning to the scene. No arrests have been announced.
