Around 3:00 in the morning on Wednesday, crews were called to the highway near Evesham Avenue in Magnolia.
A company ripping up concrete curbing for the new Walmart at that location hit a gas main.
Route 30 was shutdown from around 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Emergency responders got to the scene and were able to get the gas turned off in about a half hour.
No one was injured in the incident.
