Ex-pastor to stand trial in Pa. youth sex case

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - September 30, 2010

A Northampton district judge on Wednesday ordered 45-year-old Santos Adiel Rosado to stand trial on charges including rape.

Prosecutors say Rosado began molesting one of the girls in 1993 when she was 12 and forced her to perform sex acts over a period of 7 years. At the hearing, she testified she became pregnant and Rosado forced her to put the child up for adoption.

In the other case, the alleged sexual contact began in 2007, when Rosado was pastor of Bethlehem Community Fellowship. The alleged victim in that case was 14.

Rosado's attorney told WFMZ-TV the allegations are "contrived."
