The crash was reported shortly after 2 p.m. Wednesday in Palmer Township, Northampton County.
Coroner Zachary Lysek says he pronounced the woman driving the sedan dead at the scene. He says another adult and an infant were taken to hospitals for treatment of serious injuries. Lysek says the driver of the Lehigh and Northampton Transportation Authority bus and his two passengers were also taken to area hospitals.
Township and county authorities say the cause of the crash is still under investigation. The names of the victims and the conditions of those injured were not immediately available. A LANTA official did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
