Bucks County Coroner Joseph Campbell says the bodies of 65-year-old Gerald Mattingly and 59-year-old Patricia Berberich were found Wednesday night in the Hilltown apartment they shared. Authorities said they appeared to have died on Sunday.
Police chief Christopher Engelhart says authorities do not know what prompted the deaths.
The Bucks County Courier Times says neighbors described the couple as warm and friendly and said they knew of no problems in the home.
