Authorities say her ultralight aircraft got entangled in high-voltage power lines.
The California Department of Forestry and Fire says the woman spent about two hours, 20 feet off the ground.
Rescue crews had to wait until the power was shut off before the woman could be safely lowered.
She wasn't hurt.
Authorities say luckily for the pilot, no metal on the paraglider came in contact with the power lines.
Her aircraft is described as a go-cart with wings.
