Maryland's Bay Bridge is listed as one of the scariest in the world.
The four-mile-plus span crosses the Chesapeake Bay near the nation's capital.
Travel and Leisure magazine says the bridge made the list because of frequent storms that limit visibility.
Other crossings on the scary list include bamboo bridges in Vietnam, a rope and cable bridge in Pakistan and the Seven Mile Bridge in the Florida Keys.
