Police: Serial bank robbers strike again

WILMINGTON, Del. - October 15, 2010

The robbery happened at 4:40 p.m. on Thursday at the WSFS branch at 2011 Concord Pike.

Investigators say the men approached a teller and presented a gun and a demand note.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash the pair fled in a Toyota Camry, 4-door, gold in color with unknown Delaware registration.

The suspect descriptions are as follows:

  • Suspect #1 - Black male, early 20's, 5'7" to 5'10" tall, thin build wearing a tan jacket with a hood, and a black baseball style hat, and dark pants.  
  • Suspect #2 - Black male, 25 years old, 6'00'' ht., medium build, wearing a black baseball cap, black t-shirt, dark pants
Delaware State Police believe the two were involved in a robbery at the WSFS branch located at 2522 Foulk Road and the TD Bank at 1803 Marsh Road on October 8th.

  Pennsylvania State Police are also investigating a bank robbery at the TD Bank located on US 202 in Concord Twp, just over the Delaware state line also on October 8th.
