Police in Chambersburg say 55-year-old Jeffrey Rowe fatally shot his adult son on Saturday night. Authorities say officers arrived at the family's home for a report of a fight and found Jeffrey Rowe one the front porch, threatening suicide.
After an hour-long standoff, police found 27-year-old Nathaniel Rowe outside the home with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Jeffrey Rowe is in custody on a criminal homicide charge. It was not immediately clear if he had an attorney.
