Police said late Sunday that the driver was traveling eastbound on Concord Road when his car struck 29-year-old Jeremiah Sewell of Seaford as he was crossing the road about 9:30 p.m. Friday. Authorities say Sewell was thrown into the westbound lanes and was hit by another car. The driver of that car remained at the scene.
Police say Sewell was taken to Nanticoke Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities say anyone with information about the driver who fled the scene is asked to call police at (302) 644-5020, ext. 112.
