It happened around 7:00 a.m. at the intersection of Germantown Avenue and Pleasant Road in Plymouth Township.
The man, who has not yet been identified, was struck by a car driven by a 65-year-old woman.
The victim was rushed to Mercy Hospital in serious condition.
The driver, whose name has not yet been released, was also taken to the hospital for observation.
