Search for Wilmington bank robbers dressed in Muslim garb

WILMINGTON - October 23, 2010

The robbery occurred at 7:42 p.m. Friday at the TD Bank on Marsh Road.

Police say two females wearing Muslim head scarves approached the teller and handed over a note demanding money.

The suspects obtained an undisclosed amount of money and fled the business.

The first suspect is described as 25-35 years of age, 5'07", medium build, brown eyes, wearing Muslim Head scarf, dark jacket, white shirt dark dress pants and high heels.

The second suspect is described as having a medium build, wearing Muslim Head scarf, dark top, light colored shirt, dark dress pants and shoes

Both suspects are African-American.
