Officers in Lexington, Kentucky, were searching for a man in a vacant house, when he fell through the ceiling.
Authorities say Charles Creech was hiding in a basement ceiling after a neighbor called police.
The drywall gave way and Creech fell to the floor.
A local paper reports a second man was caught running from the house.
Both now face charges, including burglary.
Police believe the men were looking for copper in the home.
