Now, 80-year-old Helen Bignone has her little dog, Deuce, back.
Bignone was mugged a couple of weeks ago while walking Deuce in Alameda, Calif.
Police report a woman bought the stolen Yorkshire terrier for 20 bucks, but turned it in after seeing a news report.
Alameda Police Lt. Sean Lynch says Bignone and Deuce were "overjoyed to see each other."
Police say they have a suspect in the case and have identified another "person of interest."
