Good fence makes bad neighbor

DULUTH, Minn. (AP) - November 12, 2010

But what about a bad neighbor?

Court records show Randy King is admitting to taking an antique wrought-iron fence from a neighbor's property and installing it in his yard.

He's signed a diversion agreement on a charge of felony theft.

He'll serve probation and must pay back $1,500.

King claimed the neighbor in Duluth, Minn., gave him permission to take the fence.

But she denies it.

The Duluth News Tribune reports the woman is getting a new replacement fence.

The stolen fence is damaged and most likely will be scrapped.
