Police say several shots were fired around 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the community of Dunleith in the New Castle area.
Witnesses told police that four men parked two separate cars and began walking down the street. Moments later, gunfire erupted and the men ran back to their cars.
Police found bullet holes in three homes, and three windows to a vehicle were shattered. Police say the homes were occupied, but no one was injured.
