Stolen puppy with health concerns found

DELRAN, NJ-November 29, 2010

The young dog, a female Jug, which is a combination of a Jack Russell/Pug, was stolen from the Pets Plus store in Delran, New Jersey at approximately 5:30pm on November 26. She is said to be in good condition.

A Pets Plus spokesperson says the dog could have gone into a hypoglycemic shock due to the fact that she is not receiving the special diet she was placed on.

Store owners say the thieves were two teenage girls who fled in a van.

Police tell Action News that a woman surrendered the puppy on November 29, but she is not believed to be linked to the theft. Police are still looking for the 2 suspects.
