Pa. man claims to be Howard Hughes in bank

HERMITAGE, Pa. (AP) - November 30, 2010

Online court records do not list an attorney for 48-year-old Mark Dickson, who is charged with criminal trespass and criminal mischief for the break-in at First National Bank in Hermitage about 11 p.m. Saturday.

Hermitage Deputy Police Chief Brian Blair says Dickson wasn't charged with burglary because "nothing was taken. He claimed to be Howard Hughes and said it was his bank."

Dickson remains in the Mercer County Jail unable to post $20,000 bond and faces a preliminary hearing Dec. 7. Police haven't said why they think Dickson broke into the bank.

Hermitage is about 60 miles northwest of Pittsburgh.
