These elephants can finally go home

CLEVELAND (AP) - December 2, 2010

The elephants at the Cleveland zoo are back home after a two-year redo of their exhibit.

Cleveland Metroparks Zoo Director Steve Taylor says the three elephants will be given plenty of time to get used to their new digs.

The elephant exhibit won't open to the public until next May.

The new African Elephant Crossing has a mix of habitats with four times the space as the old exhibit.

Elephants Moshi, Martika and Jo had been staying at the Columbus, Ohio, zoo during the renovations.
