Police trying to ID pharmacy robbery suspect

NEW CASTLE, Del. - December 8, 2010

The robbery occurred on Thursday, December 2 at 5:15 p.m. at New Castle Discount Pharmacy, located at 232 New Castle Avenue in New Castle, Delaware.

The suspect entered the pharmacy and confronted two employees, displayed a black handgun and demanded narcotic drugs. The employees complied and turned over numerous doses of drugs to the gunman. The suspect then ordered the employees to exit the rear of the store.

The gunman fled in an unknown direction, but not before being caught on surveillance video.

The victims, two 35-year-old men, were not injured.

The gunman is described as a white male, standing 5'10" tall, weighing 165 -195 lbs with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a black Philadelphia Eagles jacket, a light black sweatshirt with a white t-shirt underneath of it, blue jeans, tan work boots, and a ski mask. He was also armed with a black handgun.
