Car collides with school bus in West Oak Lane, 1 injured

The driver of a car was injured when their vehicle slammed into the back of a school bus in the West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia on Thursday. It happened around 4:00 p.m. in the 7300 block of Limekiln Pike. There were 25 children on the bus, who attend Wordsworth Academy in Forth Washington. None of the children were hurt.

One person was reported injured in an accident involving a car and a school bus.

The accident happened along the 7300 block of Limekiln Pike in Philadelphia's West Oak Lane section around 4:00 p.m.

Officials say the vehicles collided rendering only the driver of the car injured.

There were approximately 25 children on the bus, but none suffered injuries.

The children attend Wordsworth Academy in Fort Washington.

The injuries to the driver are said to be non-life-threatening.
