Phila. apartment building evacuated for fire

A fire forced the evacuation of an apartment building in Philadelphia on Tuesday morning.

The fire happened at a building in the 2400 block of North 50th Street in the Wynnefield section around 10:10 a.m.

When firefighters arrived, they reported seeing heavy flames on the first floor of the three-story complex.

So far there are no reports of injuries.

There is no word yet on how this fire started.

The Red Cross has been called to help those displaced by the fire.
