Pedestrian struck by box truck in Trenton

Police are investigating an accident in Trenton involving a box truck and a pedestrian.

The accident happened at 300 Riverview Plaza, a road off of Rt. 29 near Cass Street that connects Katmandu, the Riverview office building complex and Waterfront Park.

The victim, 53-year-old Samuel R. Pelliteri of Fairless Hills, Pa., suffered head injuries as well as a possible broken pelvis and is said to be in fair condition at Capital Health Regional Medical Center.

The driver, Nicolas Bucceri of Carney's Point, NJ was not hurt.

No official charges have been announced, pending the outcome of the investigation.
