Parents of students at Merion Mercy Academy will be at the high school tomorrow to accept donations for the Ficchi family.
Donations will be accepted between 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
They are suggesting gift cards for the family to purchase clothes and personal items.
At around 11:20 a.m., the fire department was called out to the report of a fire on the 200 block of Winding Way.
Winds made it difficult for the fire department to bring the blaze under control.
When the fire department arrived they found heavy smoke coming from the home and called more fire personnel in to assist.
No injuries were reported.
