Alfalfa salmonella cases reported in Pennsylvania

Authorities say, contaminated alfalfa sprouts may have sickened nearly 90 people nationwide - including some right here in Pennsylvania,.

The Centers for Disease control reports, 15 states and the DC area have been affected by the salmonella outbreak.

A majority of those sickened reported eating sprouts at Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwiches.

So far, there are no reported deaths.

But more than 20-percent of those infected have been hospitalized.
